Now this is an iconic recipe from my restaurant Lilium. It was literally the only meal that went onto our original menu — from day one, and did not come off. We could not get rid of it. They were just so damn good, so comforting and warm, the best food hug ever.
I know these seem like normal baked beans but they are more than that, they are addictive. If you want to really go o.g Lilium then have these with melted cheese on toast, dipping the cheesy bread into the beans. We used to torch the cheddar with a torch to give it a smokey vibe. So damn good.
